Chic Executive Officer

Another homework, another entry.

While the mood of this 'editorial' expresses a vintage-modern vibe of sophisticated women in power, hence the title (insert smirk emoji); the behind-the-scenes nitty gritty was definitely far from sophisticated! Tony Robbins once said, "it's not the lack of resources, it's the lack of resourcefulness that stops people." Ever since I heard that, I have kept that in mind especially when I'm lacking the discipline to do something.

So as proof of my resourcefulness, here are some unsophisticated shoot secrets:

• A big rectangular box served as my tripod.

• Our garage door was my backdrop.

• All the props were found in the house.

• Everything I wore was either thrifted, on sale, or secondhand.

Hopefully I'll be a "'Chic' Executive Officer" someday. I guess this is a start 'cause hey, my resourcefulness allowed me to pull this off!
